Clinic Nurse - West Wichita Family Physicians

Location: Wichita, KS, 67212

We are a family-oriented company that supports you, your family, and your work life balance. As a growing practice we are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our healthcare team. The Clinical Nurse will provide direct patient care, assist in medical procedures, and ensure patient comfort and well-being. Joining our team as a Clinical Nurse offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives while working in a supportive healthcare environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient assessments and provide nursing care for individuals of all ages
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
  • Assist in medical procedures and examinations
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care

Requirements:

  • Valid nursing license and CPR certification
  • Ability to triage and perform patient assessments in person, over the phone, and/or via the web portal messaging system.
  • Strong knowledge of medical documentation, terminology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and critical thinking skills
  • Tolerate a work environment of approximately 85% sedentary desk work and 15% physical nursing care throughout the clinic.

The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm. We offer a generous paid time off plan, in addition to a suite of employee benefits.
