The hourly wage for this position is $22.50 per hour.

As an Exception Management Team (EMT) Associate, you are the critical problem-solver responsible for maintaining high levels of inventory accuracy and ensuring the seamless, speedy flow of goods through our logistics network. You will utilize specialized systems to troubleshoot, resolve, and re-route items that encounter errors (exceptions, invalid labels, misroutes, returns). Your detailed, analytical approach directly contributes to overall operational efficiency and inventory integrity, which is key to improving customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do (Core Responsibilities)
  • Your primary duties focus on investigation, troubleshooting, and system-based problem-solving:
  • System Troubleshooting & Resolution: Utilize appropriate systems (WMS, Nexus, etc.) to report, track, research, and correct order issues. This includes resolving issues related to invalid LP trailers, carton labels, and aging items, and managing the efficient processing of re-routed orders.
  • Inventory Accuracy: Maintain inventory integrity by performing investigative research to resolve discrepancies identified by the customer, processor, and/or system. Perform regular cycle counts to ensure up-to-date records and inventory accuracy.
  • Quality & Returns Processing: Re-grade orders as needed to ensure accurate routing of returns to the appropriate destination. Process repair items and handle exception items correctly and promptly. Perform or assist with box repairs, such as taping and reboxing.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with other departments and cross-functional partners to investigate and resolve order issues quickly. Escalate all discrepancies to management when necessary.

What You’ll Need (Minimum Requirements)
  • Experience & Technology: Previous experience (6 months to 1 year preferred) with WMS systems, Returns processing, or Inventory/Cycle Counting. Experience with Google Suite/Sheets or MS Office/Excel is required, along with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Analytical Skills: Must be detail-oriented and possess strong problem-solving skills, able to think analytically and creatively.
  • Autonomy: Ability to work mostly unsupervised in a fast-paced environment while achieving expected results.
  • Physical Strength: The ability to stand and walk for a full shift(~10 hours), with frequent bending and squatting. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted and participate in team lifting up to 150 lbs. Consistently.
  • Education/Experience (Preferred): High School diploma or GED is preferable. Previous warehouse experience is preferable.
  • Safety Knowledge: Knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements and documentation (MSDS, OSHA, Equipment Checklist, etc.).
